FEDERAL ELECTION
PRIME MINISTER CONFIDENT. (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) Melbourne, November 12. The Prime Minister has completed a whirlwind election tour of Australia. He is confident that the present Government will be returned with a substantial majority. Labour must win 13 seats to unseat his Government, which he opines is a hopetask, especially in view of the recent industrial turmoil.—Australian Press Association.
