Lovely Lace Hats
Lace mats for the toilet table are more popular than the embroidered ones. All sorts of odds and ends of real lace are whipped together in round or square shapes —the square are more favoured—and usually edged with narrow Valenciennes or filet and then dyed to a uniform “tea" colour.
