Passing through Wizernes, a village near St. Omar, the Prince of Wales paid a visit to the old farmhouse where he was billeted for four months. A man and woman stood on the threshold. “Mon Dieu, it is monsieur,” said the woman, and she burst into tears. The royal visitor went inside, drank a cup of coffee and chatted to the host and hostess about bygone days for threeQjwwters of an hour.
