MEN’S SUITS PRICES TAKE DECIDED DROP. AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. A most interesting statement to the effect that prices for men’s suits and overcoats will shortly suffer a most decisive reduction was made yesterday, the manager of the Clothing Department of Messrs H. and J. Smith Ltd. announcing that on Friday next men’s high quality suits would be sold at 25/-, 35/- and 45/- each and men’s overcoats at 19/6, 25/- and 39/6 each. The bovs’ store manager announced that boys’ apparel will also be sold at prices considerably less than usual. Boys’ cotton singlets at 1/- each, boys’ drill shirts at 2/11 each, boys’ tweed knickers at 2/6 pair, and boys’ tweed suits at 25/- each.— Advt.
