SPIRITED COMPETITION. (Rec. 11.35 p.m.) Sydney, October 16 At the wool sales to-day 12,085 bales were sold. Competition was vigorous with increased support from Yorkshire. The hardening tendency continued. Greasy Merino fleece sold at 25Ad.—Australian Press Association.
