COLONEL ARRESTED
PLOT AGAINST SPANISH DIRECTORY. (Rec. 12.10 a.m.) Paris, October 15. The Nice correspondent of the Petit Parisien states that in response to the Spanish Embassy’s request the police arrested, provisionally with a view to extradition, Colonel Losroyes and two officer bom who are suspected of participation in a plot against the Directory. The colonel recently returned from Washington where he married a daughter of the Irish Free State Minister, Mr. Smiddy. The property of the three has been confiscated.—Australian Press Association. —United Service.
