SPRING SHOW. (From Our Correspondent.; The Ladies’ Guild of the Tuatapere Presbyterian Church held the second annual spring show on Friday. Owing no doubt to the stormy weather of late the entries in the flower section were less than last year, but the judge, Mr Stapleton, of Invercargill, drew attention to some fine specimen blooms exhibited. The cookery exhibits were judged by Mr McKeown of Orepuki, and Mrs Evans, Scotts Gap, who was also judge of the fancy work. The schools’ section was judged by Mr A. E. Featherstone, Invercargill, who had a busy time with the large number of entries. The prize list is as follows: Cookery.
