PRINCESS MARY
RECEPTION AT BELFAST. HUGE LINER INSPECTED. Rugby, October 12. Princess Mary was cheered by large crowds when she arrived at Belfast to-day with Viscount Lascelles. Girl operatives at a large rope works had their machines decorated with red, white and biue ribbons when she paid a visit of welcome. Mottoes were painted on cranes at the shipyard of Harland and Wolff where the keel of a 60,000-ton White Star liner was inspected. The Lord Mayor presented an address on behalf of the Corporation at the City Hall; Princess Mary admired the war memorial window and placed roses from her bouquet at the foot of the window.—British Official Wireless.
