OLYMPIC TEAM
RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 12. The Olympic team returned by the Ruahine. The vessel, delayed by bad weather, did not reach port till this afternoon. The members of the party are: Misses Stockley, Wilson, Miller, Messrs Lindsay, Moorhouse, Lay, Morgan, Cleverly, Mesdames Amos and Miller. At Mr Amos' place where luncheon was originally planned, dinner will be held in the evening. The civic reception had to be cancelled and boxing association functions in honour of Morgan and Cleverly were postponed till Monday. TOUR WORTH WHILE Wellington, October 12. A largely attended dinner was given to-night when a welcome was extended to the Olympic representatives. The speakers were: Mr. A. D. Bayfield, chairman of the Olympic Council, the Mayor, Mr. J. A. Troupe and the Hon. K. S. Williams. The manager, Mr. H. Amos declared that the tour was well worth while. All had done their best and Morgan had performed wonderfully.
