A case of importance to dairy farmers was heard in the Pahiatua Court when the Rexdale Dairy Company claimed £22 from a farmer named O. Lund. Plaintiff contended that defendant ordered stores to be supplied to an employee who is bankrupt. Defendant disclaimed liability. The Magistrate, Mr Miller, considered that the evidence of plaintiff’s witnesses in regard to the instructions to supply stores to the employee sufficient to establish liabffity and gave judgment to plaintiff for full amount. —Press Association telegram.
