NO WEAKENING
AMERICA’S NATIONAL DEFENCES. New York, October 10. A message from San Antonio states that a promise that the administration was not contemplating bringing about any weakening of the national defences because of the Kellogg Treaty was given to the American Legion yesterday by Mr Dwight Davis, Secretary of War, in an address in which he praised the purpose and the statesmanship of the documents.—Australian Press Association.
