SYDNEY WOOL SALES
FIRM MARKET FOR TOP LINES. (Rec. 10.35 p.m.) Sydney, October 10. At the wool sales the market was very firm for all top line fleece and good skirtings. Lower grades are still selling irregularly. Bidding has been well distributed, and Russian buying has been a noticeable feature. Japanese, French and Belgians have been prominent. The sales totalled 11,301 bales. Greasy merino fleece sold to 25ifd.—Australian Press Association.
