GRANTS OF MONEY
RURAL ADVANCES SCHEME. (Special to the Times.) Wellington, October 9. Up to September 30 last £1,143,710 has been advanced under the rural advances scheme, according to a return presented to Parliament to-day. Some 1,603 applications have been received and 1,256 dealt with. Bonds to the value of £620,900 have been issued and £588,425 in money raised.
