AMNESTY. BILL
GERMAN PRISONERS PARDONED. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, July 14. The Reichstag has adjourned till the autumn after passing the Amnesty Bill which it is estimated will release many hundreds, including the last of the soldiers sentenced by the ex-Kaiser’s court-martial, members of the Black Reichswehr, Communists and many non-political offenders whose crimes may be attributed to distress during the inflation period.—Australian Press Association.
