There will be no limit of quantities of goods, as everything will be shipped direct to the Company in bulk. The company will have a London Office for buying purposes. Farmers and residents in the Southland district, as well as other centres, will be able to buy fencing wire, nails, galvanised iron, farming machinery, motor ears, pianos, gramophones, Irish linens, cotton goods, teas, all classes of general drapery, cutlery, boots and shoes, furs, etc. Residents who join this company will b» entitled to special buying rates and share in all profits of the company. The explanatory circular is being posted to all householders, with an application form enclosed, but for their information the company beg to state that one share in the company entitles shareholders to all buying concessions. Displays or sample ranges of goods will be held in Invercargill and Gore for the benefit of shareholders and residents. Many hundreds of well-known people have joined this company. The first Depot will be opening in Dunedin in a few days. This company fills a long-felt want, especially to the farming community. They will be able to buy at the lowest English wholesale rates. A full range of Fur Necklets will arrive in Dunedin within a few days from Messrs Oxendale, Ltd., Manchester. The company invite residents from all country districts when in Invercargill to call at the Office and inspect the share register. Very fine trading agreements have been made with a number of English houses that have been sending out illustrated catalogues, and this company will supply the means of displaying these goods, so that residents will not run the slightest risk, as all samples will be absolutely guaranteed. Motorists will also be catered for, as they will be able to purchase tyres, motor accessories, etc. Further information may be obtained from the Office of th? Company, c/o H. S. Jf3o9 BLUFF HARBOUR BOARD. IN THE MATTER of a Local Bill whereof the short title is rhe Bluff Harbour Reclamation and Leasing Act 1928. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bluff Harbour Board intends to introduce into the General Assembly of the Dominion of New Zealand during the present session therof a Bill intituled “An Act to empower the Bluff Harbour Board to reclaim from the Waters of the Bluff Harbour part of the Foreshore of the said Harbour and of the bed of the said Harbour below low-water mark and to lease the land so reclaimed.” AND NOTICE is hereby further given that the objects which such Bill is intended to effect are to empower the Bluff Harbour Board (therein and herein called “the Board”) to reclaim from the waters of the Bluff Harbour the parcel of land described in the schedule thereto being land adjoining on the seaward side the lands described in the first schedule of “The Bluff Harbour Foreshore Reclamation and Leasing and Borrowing Act 1902” AND to authorise the grant from the Crown to the Board of the said land or part or parts thereof as and when the same shall be reclaimed AND to authorise the Board from time to time to lease the said land or any part or parts thereof after the same shall have been so reclaimed and granted as aforesaid and any lands granted to the Board under “The Bluff Harbour Foreshore Reclamation and Leasing and Borrowing Act, 1902” in accordance with the Public Bodies Leases Act 1908 and otherwise with the consent of the Governor-General in Council, AND to provide that the rents and profits arising from the leasing of the said land shall form part of the Harbour Fund. AND NOTICE is hereby further given that a copy of the said Bill and also a plan of the said land have been deposited in the Magistrate’s Court at Bluff and will so remain until the 31st day of July, 1928.
