Mails for Australia, South Africa, Egypt, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, etc., close at C.P.O. on Thursday, July 5, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by s.s. Marama from Wellington to Sydney. SUNDAY, JULY 15.

Mails for Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, West Indies (via Sanfrancisco, also Cook Islands and Tahiti, close at C.P.O. on Sunday, July 15 at 5.30 p.m. for despatch by R.M.S. Makura from Wellington. Mail due in London about August 15. INCOMING OVERSEAS MAILS.

Mails from Britain and America, ex R.M.S. Makura, from San Francisco, should reach Invercargill on Tuesday night by express train.
