DRUNKEN MOTORIST SENT TO GAOL (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, June 30 When the fifth motorist this week appeared at the Police Court this morning on a charge of intoxication while in charge of a car, the Magistrate (Mr Lewy) ful filled his threat to regard no intoxicated drivers as first offenders and sentenced Kawau Ratapu to 14 days’ gaol and can. celled his license for 18 months.
