Hopkin (Labour) . . .10,151 Sir Courtenay Mansel (Conservative) 8,361 —Australian Press Association. The polling at the last election for the Carmarthen seat was:— Sir Alfred Mond (Conservative) . 17,281 Rev. E. T. Owen (Labour) . . 7,953
