MANY NEW BUILDINGS. (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) Sydney, June 27. The Water and Sewerage Board’s annual report discloses that during the past year in the area of the city and suburbs covered by the board 11,972 new buildings were erected, involving an outlay of £15,293,780, an increase of £2,672,520 compared with the previous year.—Australian Press Association.
