MEETING OF AUCKLAND LEAGUE. COMPLAINT REGARDING PROGRAMMES. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 26. The annual meeting of the Auckland Listeners-In League carried a motion that in the opinion of the meeting the Auckland programmes were not commensurate with the financial support given to the company by the listeners-in of the Auckland province. It also resolved to request the Government to publish the Broadcasting Company’s balance-sheet and set up an advisory board.

Mr G. McNamara, secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, is to be asked to visit Auckland to hear the opinion of the listeners-in at a public meeting.
