TIN HARE RACING
LAW AGAINST BETTING. (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) Sydney, June 26. Cabinet has decided to enforce the law against betting at mechanical hare meetings. It also discussed the civic Royal Commission’s finding, but deferred action pending the decision of counsel as to whether a prosecution could be successfully launched.—Australian Press Association.
