HALF MOON BAY WHARF
PROPOSED ALTERATIONS. REPLY FROM MINISTER. For some time past a great deal of discussion has centred round the action of the Public Works Department in curtailing the plans for the construction of the new wharf at Half Moon Bay. In reply to representations made by the Southland League to adhere to the original plans, the Minister of Public Works wired as follows to the secretary of the Southland League (Mr J. S. Dick) : —“The matter is at present being fully gone into. Have noted your representations which are being carefully considered.”
