MAIL BAG ROBBERY
REGISTERED PACKETS OPENED. AMOUNT MISSING NOT KNOWN. London, June 24. What is believed to be the greatest mail bag robbery in history was discovered in London when the American mail bag by the Leviathan was being sorted. Though the seals were intact registered letters and packages were found cut and riddled. About 100 out of 3253 bags had been tampered with. The amount involved cannot be ascertained until the losses are reported.—Australian Press Association.
