PILOT ATTACKED
PASSENGER’S INSANE ACTION. New York, May 15. Harry Anderson, a commercial pilot, while searching for a landing field was attacked by an apparently insane passenger who struck him on the head with a hammer. Anderson was stunned and the plane nose-dived, but the pilot righted it close to the ground. The plane was demolished, but the passengers were uninjured. The passenger did not explain his action. The plane landed on the property of an insane asylum.—Australian Press Association.
