HOROWHENUA ASSOCIATION. (Per United Press Association.) Levin, January 25. The Horowhenua A. and P. Association’s annual show is being held in perfect weather. The outstanding feature is the exhibiton of pedigree Jerseys, some classes having up to 27 entries. The leading championships arc as follows: Milking Shorthorns—Bull, R. V. Brown; cow, W. J. Slack. Jerseys—Bull, Mrs J. W. Speirs’ Kuku Napper; cow, R. L. Morn’s Kuku Brooklet. Friesians—Bull and cow, Central Development Farm, Berkshire—Sow', J. A. Russel (Palmerston North); boar, Central Development Farm. Tamworth—boar and sow, J. A. Russell; large white boar and sow, Levin Dairy ‘ Company. Large white boar and sow—Levin Dairy Company. Romney Marsh—Ram, Voss Bros. (Longburn) ; ewe, J. H. Mungavin (Ohau). Southdowms—Ram, W. Kilsby (Levin) ; ewe, Mrs F. M. Slack (Manakau).
