COURT PRINCESS OF GORE. The third anniversary of the “Court Princess of Gore” was held in the Parish Hall on Friday evening. C.R. Sister T. Whittingham was in the chair. Two new candidates were initiated into the lodge. The visitors were welcomed by the C.R. and replies were made by the following. C.R Bro. R. Harley (Court Pride of Wyndham), C.R. Bro. J. Mathews (Court Pride of Gore), C.R. Bro. Stevens (Court Pride of Gore), and Bro. L. Harley (vice-president of the juvenile council). C.R. Sis. T. Whittingham called on Bro. Harley to present P.C.R. Sis. D. Whittingham and P.C.R. Sis. E. Moyle with their P.C.R. certificates and badges and also to present P.C.R. Sis. E. Moyle and Sis. K. Mitchell with the prizes won by them in gaining the highest number of new members. Afterwards a social evening was spent. Games were played and items were given as follows:—Bro. W. Stevens, song; sisters K. Mitchell and A. Holland, duet; sisters E. Moyle and E. Brady, duet, and Bro. W. Brodie, recitation. The music was supplied by sisters M. Trusler and D. Whittingham. The enjoyable evening was brought to a close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” and the National Anthem.
