SOUTHLAND EXECUTIVE. The weekly meeting of the executive of the Southland Football Association was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening, there being a good attendance of delegates. It was decided that Gilchrist, the Mataura player, who was ordered off during that club’s game with Corinthians, be suspended until he forwards an explanation to the executive. MANGAN CUP. It was decided that the Mangan Cup competition be of one round only. The following is the draw for Saturday— Rangers v. Mataura, Showgrounds. Referee, Mr Galbraith. Corinthians v. Invercargill, Showgrounds. Referee, Mr Henshdwood.
