DUKE AND DUCHESS
VISIT TO MALTA. Rugby, June 18. After holding a levee in the famous frescoed hall at Malta the Duke and Duchess of York motored up to Strada Reale to lay the foundation stone of the new town which is being built on the site of the old fortifications. This ceremony took place in an arena formed by the high battlements on which thousands of people had gathered. Their Royal Highnesses again had an enthusiastic reception.—British Official Wireless.
