CAMBREA WELTER HANDICAP (one mile and a furlong)—Homerus 9.2, 1; Affirm 9.11, 2; Furcroft 8.5, 3. Fourteen started. Won by a length. Time, lmin 55| secs. During the running of the Toolambool Hurdles, Mount Elsa and Bernbanks fell and were killed. THE TURF IN SYDNEY. RACING AT CANTERBURY PARK. A MAORILANDER PLACED THIRD.
