BLEACHING COTTON
A NEW TREATMENT. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, June 18. There is widespread interest in the official announcement that the Bleachers’ Association are now treating cotton in such a manner as to give it the appearance and feel of wool. Details of the process are Unavailable and experiments have been proceeding some time with various chemical treatments following the application of nitric acid. —Sun Cable.
