An effort will be made to : despatch her for Dunedin to-morrow. The Calm is due at Bluff to-day. She ! will be despatched this evening for Dunedin, i Wellington and Wanganui. The Kurow, which left Auckland on ■ Thursday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff, ’ is due here on Wednesday next. After , discharge she will sail for Wellington and ; Auckland, via ports. The Waihemo, which left San Francisco : on June 4 for New Zealand ports, including Bluff, is due at Wellington on June 30. TRANS PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. The following movements of trans-Pacific cargo steamers are announced:— The Hauraki left San Francisco May 27 for Auckland, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Due at Auckland June 18. The Waiehmo left San Francisco June 4 for Apia, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. Due Apia June 21 and at Wellington June 30. The Wai tern at a is expected to leave Ocean Falls on the 10th inst. for San Francisco direct. Expected to clear San Francisco about June-19. The Wairuna leaves Sydney June 14 for Fiji, Vancouver and San Francisco. THE PORT HARDY. On her second visit to New Zealand is the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hardy, from London, via ports, is due at Bluff to-day. Thevessel, which made her last trip to Australia, loaded a large general cargo at London, and also embarked thirteen passen- ■ gers before sailing on April 8. Average weather conditions were experienced across . the 4 Atlantic to Colon, where the Port Hardy arrived on the morning of April 25. i Transit through the Panama Canal was obtained on the same day, the vessel resuming her voyage from Balboa. Fine weather prevailed in the Pacific until the beginning of the present week, when a series of westerly gales was encountered. A quantify of water was shipped on deck, and the vessel’s progress delayed, but no damage was done. The ship reached Auckland on May 20, and sailed thence for Port Chalmers and New Plymouth. The Port Hardy is commanded by Captain W. D. Mason, D.S.C., who has with him the following officers:—First, Mr S. E. A. Gregory; second, Mr W. D. Roberts; third, Mr L. J. Skailes; fourth, Mr V. G. Battle; wireless operators, Messrs W. Goodsell and S. Connell; chief engineer, Mr T. Griffiths; second, Mr W. Young; third, Mr H. Ward; fourth, Mr L. Rickards; fifth, Mr F. Miller; sixth, Mr J. O’Reilly; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr P. McNeilage; second, Mr L. G. Cutler; chief steward, Mr A. E. Wells; Dr. Kitchen came out in the capacity of ship’s surgeon. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
