DIVORCE IN ENGLAND
THOUSANDS OF CASES NOWADAYS. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, June 17. Reference to secret divorce was made by the Lord Chief Justice at the Mansion House Banquet. “The courts used to hear divorce suits by the score,” he said, “but now fhey hear them by the thousands. Nevertheless there were a great many people in England undivorced still.”—A. and N.Z.
