CRICKET CARNIVAL
THE GORE EFFORT. (From Our Correspondent.) The Gore Cricket Carnival was concluded on Saturday evening, the attendance being a record one. The committee and assistants worked enthusiastically and received generous support from the public, the takings for the night amounting to approximately £4O. With the amount in hand from the two previous sessions this should give the committee a satisfactory sum to effect ground improvements and to carry out other necessary works.
