CHANNEL SWIM
MYSTERY OF SPACER’S ATTEMPT. (Rec. 7 p.m.) Prague, June 13. Mystery still surrounds Spacek’s Channel swim. He stated emphatically to-day that he certainly established a record despite the attempt to discredit him. He repeats his declaration that the Mayor of Dover was present when he landed, and is preparing an affidavit to that effect, but if the story is not accepted he will repeat the swim next week.—A. and N.Z.
