SEASON REACHES ITS HEIGHT. ASCOT RACES AND HORSE SHOW. Rugby, June 12. The London season reaches its height this week, among its social events being races at Ascot, a military tattoo at Aidershot, and the International Horse Show at Olympia. Last year 173,000 spectators witnessed the Tattoo which is performed on behalf of military charities. The International Horse Show, which opens on Thursday and lasts for nine days is the greatest event of its kind, in which many of the best riders from all parts of the world are taking part, and the jumping competition for the King George V. Cup, won last year by the United States, will be competed for by officers representing Great Britain, the Irish Free State, France, Italy, Belgium and Sweden. —British Official Wireless.
