NEW FOG SIGNAL
PROVISION AT PENCARROW HEAD. SECOND APPLIANCE PROPOSED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 5. A diaphone fog-signal has been provided by the Marine Department at Pencarrow Plead, superseding the explosive signal. The new signal is worked by compreased air, and is a distinct improvement over the old signal. It is intended to provide a similar signal at Godley Head, Lyttelton.
