MEETING OF PARLIAMENT. POLITICAL SITUATION TENSE. (Rec. 1.10 a.m.) Tokio, May 5. Addressing the Lower House, Mr Tanaka, after outlining the events leading up to the economic depression of the country, asked Parliament to support the Finance Bills. Notwithstanding predictions, the Opposition immediately commenced obstructing, awaiting an opportunity to defeat the Government. The situation is the tensest known, and a national crisis is expected. The outcome will remain doubtful for 24 hours.— A. and N.Z,
