GUIDE FOR ADVERTISERS
A VALUABLE DIRECTORY. The 1927 edition of “The Newspaper Press Directory” has just been issued, and is the eighty-second annual volume. It comprises 670 pages, and is brimfull ot information of interest to advertisers and Press men. As its predecessors, the new edition includes a complete record of the newspapers, magazines, and periodical publications of Great Britain and Ireland, together with those of the British Dominions and Colonies, and of the principal foreign countries. “The Newspaper Press Directory” is well known for its concise presentation of much valuable information and statistics on InterImperial Trade, and the new edition is in no wise lacking in this respect. In fact, the article on Inter-Imperial Trade, dealing with the export trade of the country and its Empire markets, is perhaps as unique in its entirety as any that appears throughout the year. A very interesting and informative article on “British Empire Trade” comes from the pen of the Rt. lion. L. S. Amery, M.P., Secretary of State for the Dominions and the Colonies, while Mr. W. S. Crawford contributes an article under the heading of “An Adventure in Creative Publicity.” Other articles, which will particularly merit the attention of advertisers and journalists, form a part of this standard work of reference with respect to the Press. “The Newspaper Press Directory” is compiled and published by Messrs C. Mitchell I and Co., Ltd., London, E.C.1., and will be sent, post free (abroad) 6/6.
