INCOMING OVERSEAS MAILS. British and Australian mails are expected to arrive at Wellington from Sydney on Monday next by R.M.S. Tahiti. The Invercargill portion should arrive here by Tuesday night’s express train. British and American mails are due at Auckland from Vancouver on Monday next by R.M.S. Niagara. The letter portion for Invercargill is due to reach here on Wednesday night by express train. NORTH MAILS: ALTERATION. Commencing Monday, December 6, mails for the north will be closed daily at 6.15 a.m. for despatch by ‘7 a.m. express train. Mails for Dunedin, Christchurch and intermediate offices will also be closed daily at 12.50 p.m. for despatch by 1.45 p.m. mail train. From the same date inward mails from *be North will arrive at 1.10 p.m. and 9.2 p.m. daily. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4. Mails for Australia, South Africa and the East close at C.P.O. on Saturday, December 4, at 4.25 p.m., for despatch by bjs. Maheno from Bluff to Melbourne. MONDAY, DECEMBER 6.
