WATERSIDES STABBED
RESULT OF DISPUTE. NEGRO ARRESTED. (Per United Frees AssocintfonJ Auckland, December 2. As a result of a dispute between two watersiders at eight o’clock this morning George Cargill is in hospital, and Joseph Andre, imprisoned, will appear at Court to-morrow charged with assault. They quarrelled last night, but turned up as usua’ seeking work. Andre, who is a negro, was chipping a piece of wood with a penknife in pursuit of his hobby of making small wooden boats for insertion in bottles.
