WORK OF RECONSTRUCTION. PROGRESS LN FRANCE. (Rec. 7.10 p.m.) Paris, December 1. Since the Armistice 541,000 buildings have been restored in France’s devastated areas; 26,583 miles of roads and 1,182 mlies of railroads reconstructed, and 5,000,000 acres put again under cultivation. Nevertheless, five years will be required to wipe out the ravages. The work of restoration has cost so far 70,000,000,000 francs.—A and NX.
