PRINCESS THERESE. WIFE OF AGA KHAN, (Rec. 7-5 pjn.) Paris, December L The death of Princess Therese, wife of Aga Khan, is reported.—A & N.Z. A GIFTED WOMAN. ITALIAN WHO EMBRACED ISLAM. (Rec. 9.5 pjn.) London, December 2. The Daily Express Paris correspondent reports that Princess Therese’s death was a great blow to the Aga Khan, who left her bright and cheerful. He returned to a nursing home three hours later to be told that she was dead of heart failure following an operation. Therese was born in 1889. An Italian, formerly Signorina Magliano, she embraced Islam before her marriage and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a clever sculptor and exhibited at the Royal Academy. Her son is at present at school at Huntingdon.—A and NX.
