BUSH FIRES
STILL RAGING IN NB.W. Sydney, December 1. Bush fires continue to rage in many parts of the State and are taking a toll of crops of valuable fodder. Telephone communications with some places on the north coast is cut off. Around Armidale farmers are having an anxious time. The outbreaks are being subdued only after hours of hard fighting. At Casino a sawmill valued at £5OOO was destroyed.—A. and N.Z.
