AYRSHIRE IN TOW
A JAMMED RUDDER. Colombo, November 30. The Lupin’s attempt to tow the Ayrshire has been temporarily abandoned owing to a jammed rudder. The sloop is standing by till the fire aft is further subdued when the rudder may be freed. The forepart o fthe ship was examined, and some cargo jettisoned.—A. and NX
