ALLEGED FRAUD
PROPERTY DEAL. FARMER BEFORE COURT. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, October 28. The trial of Richard Walters, a farmer, of Waipu, on two chargee of fraud and four of false pretences, was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day, the jury returning a verdict of not guilty on all counts. The charges were in connection with a property exchange in which Walters gave a bill of sale over his stock as security for a bank guarantee from Percy Arthur Herman for £1,500 and later increased to £l,BOO.
