INCREASED TONNAGE IN TSE. (Rec. 5A pjn.) London, October 28. The.official figures issued by the Chamber of Shipping show that for the three months since July 1 the shipping laid up m the principal ports of the United Kingdom was reduced by nearly 500,000 tons, due mainly, to the demands for freight by coal importers and seasonal activity in the grain trade.—A. and N.Z.
