MEMBERS WANT ALIX)WANCES. AGITATION IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydney, October 28. A meeting of the Labour caucus of the Legislative Council strongly protested against the delay of the Government in honouring the promise made at the time when members of the Legislative Assembly increased their own salaries to provide an allowance for members of the I legislative Council. The caucus decided to send a deputation to Mr Lang requesting that an allowance should be made for each sitting, the total not to exceed £3OO per annum. —A. and NX
