CHEMISTS INJURED
, EXPLOSION IN DOMINION LABORATORY. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 27. Messrs C. Barnicow, N. R. Dunn and H. J. Wood, assistants in the Dominion Laboratory, were cut about the head and face by flying glass following an explosion at the Dominion Laboratory. Their injuries are not expected to prove serious. It is understood the explosion occurred while one of the staff was engaged in nitrating oil. The explosion was heard some distance away, and windows on the south side of the room were broken.
