WOOL SALES

FIFTH SYDNEY SERIES CONCLUDES. (Rec. 11.10 p.m.) Sydney, October 27. The fifth series of wool sales has concluded. The market closed without any appreciable change from the previous week’s sales. Whilst fine quality lines were in good demand and made late rates, broad fibred and faulty sorts met with a restricted demand. Greasy Merino sold to 28 pence. The next series commences on Monday week. —A. and N.Z.
