WILL REMAIN IN OFFICE. Melbourne, October 27. A meeting of the Liberal and Farmers’ Parties held separately decided to give guarantees of support to a composite Ministry. Following on this the Ministry decided to remain in office.—A. & N.Z. DIVISION NOT CALLED FOR. Melbourne, October 27. In the Assembly a motion, for the adjournment of the House, which the Premier said would give members an opportunity of deciding whether they had confidence or not in the Victorian Ministry was agreed to without a division. It is now practically assured that the present Government will carry on till the report and recommendations of the Commission appointed under the recent Redistribution of Seats Bill is dealt with by Parliament.—A. 4 N.Z.
